1. Are you happy at work?

Score low (1-3) if:

  • You often feel unappreciated
  • You do not feel secure in your job or in control of your work
  • You work long hours regularly
  • You have a poor relationship with your boss or other colleagues

Score medium (4-7) if:

  • You sometimes have work which is unchallenging and boring, but mostly you enjoy your job
  • You usually feel comfortable with your colleagues and boss
  • You are happy with the hours you work
  • You are not worried about organisational changes

Score high (8-10) if:

  • You feel in control of your work and valued in your organisation
  • You are challenged in your work
  • You have good relationships and support networks from those you work with

2. Do you eat for health?

Score low (1-3) if:

  • You skip meals, often missing breakfast
  • You rarely eat 5 portions of fruit and veg a day
  • You rarely drink water, preferring carbonated or hot drinks
  • You drink more than 4 cups of coffee per day
  • You’re usually really hungry by the time you get to eat, and tend to grab what’s convenient

Score medium (4-7) if:

  • You usually eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, though not always cooked from scratch with a reasonable range of ingredients
  • You do eat fruit and veg, but sometimes struggle to meet the 5-a-day recommended target
  • You drink water throughout the day, as well as teas and coffee
  • You sometimes snack between meals, often on treats like sweets, crisps and biscuits

Score high (8-10) if:

  • You always eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, and usually with a wide range of varied, fresh ingredients
  • You always meet your 5-a-day fruit and veg target
  • You always drink at least a litre of still water each day
  • You rarely snack on treats, preferring healthy options, such as fruit or seeds

3. Do you consider yourself physically fit?

Score low (1-3) if:

  • You are often tired and lacking energy
  • You find yourself out of breath after even a small amount of activity
  • You often have aches, pains and headaches
  • You don’t have the time to exercise
  • You do not have any sport or exercise that you enjoy
  • You don’t get enough sleep

Score medium (4-7) if:

  • Sometimes you get tired, but mostly you are energetic
  • You are only out of breath if you have done something particularly energetic
  • You sometimes have aches, pains and headaches, but not often
  • You sleep reasonably well, most of the time
  • You have a sport or activity that you enjoy at least twice a week, such as swimming or walking

Score high (8-10) if:

  • You are rarely tired and always feel energetic
  • You are never breathless
  • You rarely have aches, pains and headaches
  • You consider exercise a priority, and have a sport or activity that enjoy at least three times a week
  • You sleep soundly and get enough sleep most days

  • You never lose your temper
  • You rarely suffer with tiredness, headaches, and muscle ache
  • You almost always get the sleep you need and sleep well
  • You’re rarely get irritable with other people

5. Do you feel in control of your finances?

Score low (1-3) if:

  • You struggle with money and most of the time find it hard to pay bills
  • You are often in debt, either from the bank or friends and family
  • You have several credit/store cards, all with credit on them
  • You don’t really know where your money goes
  • You’re not sure how much money is in your bank account

Score medium (4-7) if:

  • You balance your finances reasonably well, though sometimes find it hard to pay the bills and have some left over for yourself
  • You have some debts, but don’t feel overwhelmed by them, and know you can pay them off over time
  • You don’t have much credit card debt
  • You budget ahead and usually stick to it
  • You know roughly how much is in your bank account and when bills are due

Score high (8-10) if:

  • You balance your finances well with an organised budget
  • You have no debts or only ones that you know can be easily paid off
  • You pay off your credit card debt each month
  • You budget ahead, planning carefully money coming into and out of your account
  • You know exactly what’s in your bank account and when bills are due

6. Do you feel you have enough “you time” every week for hobbies and interests?

Score low (1-3) if:

  • You spend very little or no time dedicated to yourself during the week
  • You don’t have any hobbies or interests that are just for you
  • You feel too tired to do anything when the day’s over
  • You rarely have a relaxing bath or other time on your own

Score medium (4-7) if:

  • You spend at least a few hours dedicated to yourself during the week
  • You have an interest that you enjoy and regularly take part in it
  • You look forward to doing something special in the evenings
  • You regularly have time to yourself to do things you enjoy

Score high (8-10) if:

  • You spend some time dedicated to yourself almost every day
  • You have an interest that you enjoy and take part in it several times each week
  • You look forward to doing something special most evenings
  • You always make time to do things you enjoy

  • You have great relationships with all your family and a strong network of good friends
  • You love spending time with them
  • You have plenty of people to turn to and rely on in both good times and difficult times

Score low (1-3) if:

  • You feel bored or unsatisfied in your relationship
  • You would rather be with your friends than your partner
  • You don’t feel valued or appreciated in your relationship
  • You hate being single and often feel lonely
  • If single, you feel as if people in relationships are having a better time than you

Score medium (4-7) if:

  • At times you are happy; good feelings are mixed with doubts about the relationship
  • You feel as if your friends have happier relationships than you
  • Somtimes your partner drives you nuts, but mostly you are happy together
  • If single, you sometimes wish you were in a relationship, but are mostly happy with being single
  • If single, you occasionally feel jealous of other couples but mostly are happy with your own lifestyle

Score high (8-10) if:

  • You feel extremely happy and at ease within the relationship
  • You would not want to be without your partner
  • You are happy being single and know that you’re on the right life path
  • Whether single or in a relationship, you don’t feel that the grass is greener for other people
