Physical health (diet and exercise) is fundamental to strengthening the body and building a solid foundation for wellbeing; however, mental health is also vital in juggling the demands and diversity of today's demanding lifestyles.
We also recognise that changing bad habits is not an easy process, and adopting healthy ones requires behaviour change, which is unlikely to be achieved through a one-off experience. So we have created a programme that introduces a selection of small changes that can be customized to suit the needs of the individual, and easily incorporated into existing routines. This allows people to build upon it over time to create ongoing, lifelong changes to wellbeing with a peer support structure that helps maintain motivation and commitment.
For this reason, our wellbeing programme has a comprehensive follow-up process to help participants build on their successes and offers employers long-lasting results at no additional cost to the business.
Our team has over fifty years' combined experience working in the corporate sector, so we understand the demands and pressures of the workplace, both for employers and their staff.

Addressing the Nation's heath may seem like a pretty lofty ambition, but it's something we're passionate about. In the UK obesity, chronic health conditions and mental health issues are on the rise. Smoking, high blood pressure, obesity, lack of exercise, alcohol and poor diet are the top reasons for early death(i). Many illnesses, including chronic conditions, can be avoided through better lifestyle practises.
There is immense value in making people aware that they have significant control over their existing and future wellbeing; personal choices often having greater impact on health than hereditary influences. Furthermore, the advice needs not be complicated: many significant health benefits can be reaped by taking simple steps to adjust unhealthy habits.
Healthier people are not only happier people, they need less treatment for illness; so we can all reduce the burden on the NHS by taking proactive measures to stay well.

FourWellbeing is wholly owned subsidiary of Positive East, a charity which has spent over twenty years advising people affected by HIV on how to live well. We wanted to share our experience beyond our service users, and established FourWellbeing as a mechanism to help businesses increase their profits by improving the way their staff feel and perform, both at work and at home.
All profits are reinvested into the charity to help Positive East become financially self-sufficient, reducing its reliance on government funding and the public purse, whilst continuing to provide the comprehensive range of support its service users need.
Our mission is to help people improve their wellbeing, making them healthier, happier and more fulfilled; the knock on effect creates virtuous circles that reach far and wide, both within your businesses and the community.
